Horse Connection Sessions

Horse Connection Sessions are one-on-one sessions designed to help children, adults and beginners connect with horses in a calm and supportive environment.

These sessions are perfect for building confidence before starting riding lessons, or for anyone wanting a gentle and enjoyable horse experience.

Each session is guided by the participant and tailored to their comfort level. Whether they would prefer quiet time with a horse or a more hands-on experience, the session is shaped to suit them. There is no pressure and no rush — just connection, learning, and confidence at their own pace.

During the session, participants may:

• brush and care for the horse

• learn safe horse handling and basic groundwork

• lead the horse over cowboy challenge obstacles

• enjoy a lead-rein ride at the end of the session

Session Price

$25 per 45-minute session

All proceeds go towards the running and maintenance of the Huntly Community Riding Centre facilities.

Availability

• Weekdays after 4:00pm

• Weekend daytime sessions
